Our operations are on an exciting journey where we develop delicious, well-prepared, nutritionally balanced, and sustainable everyday meals for our children and students who eat in our school restaurants throughout Luleå Municipality. WORK RESPONSIBILITIES In the role as cook with coordination responsibility: • You lead and distribute work in the school restaurant and actively participate in cooking and other tasks • You engage and motivate your colleagues by cooperating and utilizing the team's collective expertise • You inspire students toward a positive and educational meal experience • You contribute to developing new and existing working methods • You develop operations by driving improvements and contributing new ideas • You collaborate with educational staff to make the meal into a learning opportunity for a sustainable future • You work sustainably and are responsible for budget, purchasing, and menu planning to offer nutritious and safe meals that students appreciate QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for someone who has: • At least upper secondary education in hospitality/food, or equivalent experience that the employer deems equivalent • Professional experience as a cook, with experience in service and good customer service • Ability to work fluently in Swedish, with good knowledge in both speech and writing • Experience working with digital tools We consider it an advantage if you have: • Experience in leading and motivating others As a person we see that you: • Actively take initiative in social settings and find it easy to build new relationships • Solve problems without losing sight of long-term goals • Lead and motivate others to efficiently reach common goals Start date: 2026-11-03 or by agreement.
