Cook at Teaterkrog Culise in Helsingborg About Teaterkrog Culise Teaterkrog Culise is Helsingborg's cosmopolitan brasserie, located in the city theater's premises at Kungsgatan 22 in the heart of the city. With us, French flavors and Scanian ingredients meet in a vibrant environment where food, drink, and stage art go hand in hand. We serve everything from casual lunch and à la carte to theater suppers in connection with performances, after-work drinks in our cocktail bar, and larger events – a place for everyone and every occasion, every day of the week. The restaurant accommodates about 200 guests, and during the summer season our large outdoor terrace is filled with an additional approximately 190 seats. We also have a private dining room for smaller groups and can together with the theater accommodate events for up to 600 seated guests. Culise is operated by experienced restaurant and culinary professionals and is part of Blue Tuna Group. About the Position As a cook with us, you are a key person in the kitchen and contribute to ensuring that every guest has an exceptional dining experience. You work with our French-inspired menu that changes with the seasons – from lunch and à la carte to theater suppers and events. This position suits you if you thrive in a fast-paced environment, enjoy cooking from scratch, and want to help develop both menu and quality together with a dedicated team. The role includes, among other things: Prepare and cook dishes with high and consistent quality according to our recipes and standards Take responsibility for your station during service, both in daily operations and at larger events Contribute to receiving, handling, and checking ingredients and actively work to minimize waste Follow hygiene and self-inspection procedures (HACCP) Collaborate with the head chef and colleagues to develop dishes and menus We are Looking for You If You Have culinary training and/or documented experience from à la carte kitchens Are accustomed to a fast pace and can maintain quality and organization even under pressure Are meticulous, responsible, and have a genuine interest in food and ingredients Are a team player with good collaboration skills and a humble approach Speak Swedish and/or English fluently Meritorious Experience with French cuisine or brasserie cooking Experience with event and conference operations with large numbers of guests Experience with menu development We Offer A workplace with variety, development opportunities, and strong community in the heart of Helsingborg's cultural and urban life, where you get to help shape a young and growing business.
