Cook, Cold Kitchen Staff at Salt å Peppar by Airport

We are looking for a cook, cold kitchen staff member, or someone with similar experience for our bistro, café, and shop at Åre Östersund Airport. You will also assist with serving, cash register work, and other duties as needed. Your main responsibilities will include kitchen work, but also cash register duties, dishwashing, cleaning, unpacking goods, and everything else needed to keep Salt å Peppar running smoothly. We are a small team at a fun and exciting workplace where we help each other. We are looking for someone who is thorough, flexible, creative, resourceful, and can manage kitchen economics. You are organized, take initiative, and enjoy maintaining a clean and neat environment. You should love customer service and want to go the extra mile for our happy travelers. The pace can be very high at times. For this position, we require a minimum of 2 years of kitchen experience. Public transportation to the airport is available, but since it doesn't always fit work schedules, it would be beneficial if you have a driver's license and access to a car. Parking is available. Part-time, 30 hours per week. Start date from week 40 2026 or by agreement. The position is limited until April 18, 2027, but there may be possibilities for extension. Working hours are weekdays, weekends, daytime, and evening (not after 8:00 PM) according to schedule. Most shifts are between 2:00 PM–8:00 PM, but morning shifts from 8:00 AM also occur. Salary according to collective agreement. The position may be filled before the application deadline. The airport is a security-classified workplace, which requires an approved security clearance including background check. This means you must be able to provide documentation proving your employment for the past five years.
