On Brännö, an island in Gothenburg's southern archipelago, lies Brännö Värdshus. You get there by boat via archipelago traffic. The inn hosts numerous events and activities, particularly live music every month year-round. The proximity to Gothenburg and its popularity as a tourist destination means many of our guests come from all corners of the world. Our restaurant has seating for around 40 guests, and our separate pavilion accommodates just over 100 guests. There we arrange music events, parties, weddings, and conferences. In summer, our lovely outdoor terrace is filled with island residents and summer visitors. The inn also operates Pensionat Baggen with 9 rooms and 19 beds. Accommodations can be arranged. There is also parking available at Saltholmen. We need to expand and are looking for an independent and driven à la carte cook—perhaps you're the one we're looking for! We're seeking a skilled and ambitious cook with at least 5 years of documented experience and professional culinary training. You naturally love food, beverages, people, and service, and take pride in giving guests that "little extra" every day. We are a tight team that motivates and helps one another so our guests feel at home with us. The archipelago environment is inspiring, offering plenty of opportunity for professional development. We're looking for a skilled and ambitious cook for both hot and cold kitchen work, 2-4 days per week. You will work closely with our head chef and as a person you are energetic, positive, and have the ambition to learn and develop yourself and your craft together with us here at the inn. We always strive to ensure guests feel good and are looked after and cared for in a relaxed way through excellent food and friendly service. Your responsibilities will include preparing well-executed dishes in a unique and inspiring environment where fish and shellfish are a significant part of the menu. Work will initially be focused mainly on weekends. Otherwise, standard kitchen duties.
