We are now looking for two chefs for our Organization!
LOKO is part of the Construction Management Department in the municipality and we work with facility services and catering. We perform facility services in the municipality's premises and we provide public meals to our oldest and youngest.
With us, you will work with preparing both cold and hot food, preparing food for various special diets, salad preparation, and pre- and post-work in the kitchen, which includes everything from planning and preparing meals, dishwashing, and cleaning during and after breakfast, lunch, and snack services. Primarily in schools and preschools.
We are looking for someone with a genuine interest in food, willing to think new thoughts and want to be part of the development that we in the catering unit are setting targets for. You must have documented chef training where food hygiene, food knowledge, cooking, special diets, economics, and computer skills are included. Alternatively, have documented experience that the employer can assess as equivalent.
Work experience in restaurants or large-scale kitchens is a requirement, and knowledge of catering software is a plus but not necessary. In addition to professional skills, we greatly value qualities such as service commitment, a positive attitude, thoroughness, teamwork, and initiative.
As a person, you enjoy working at a high pace where it is required that you are both flexible and resourceful. You also like challenges and that together with your colleagues you find ways to provide that extra something to maximize both the taste experience and the meal occasion for our guests. Swedish in speech and writing is a requirement.
