Pysslingen Förskolor in Haninge is seeking a cook for an extended temporary position. As a team member at Pysslingen Förskolor, you will help bring to life our vision of "A safe and stimulating world full of possibilities" for children, parents, and staff alike. Our wonderful cook at Baldersro will be taking an extended leave. We are therefore looking for a substitute cook with formal training who has the knowledge and desire to serve delicious, nutritious, and inspiring meals to our young diners. Baldersro preschool is located in a natural area in Haninge, close to both Slätmossen nature park and Rudan, with good access to public transportation. The preschool has 104 children and 20 educators, organized into 6 age-divided groups, with each group eating in their respective section. The preschool offers breakfast, lunch, and snacks daily, as well as special diets for children who need them. Baldersro has a health profile that shapes both our educational activities and the meals we serve. Baldersro is also a sugar-smart preschool, meaning we avoid added sugar in the meals offered to children as much as possible. We are looking for someone with documented experience in the cook role. To thrive as a cook with us, you should be naturally organized and able to structure your workday well. You should work independently and be self-motivated while maintaining a service-oriented approach toward the children. Good cooperation with educators is important. You will maintain high quality standards in line with our food policy within Academedia. As a cook, you are responsible for daily kitchen operations and dishwashing. This includes meal planning, online ordering, adhering to framework agreements and budget, menu planning, quality control, accounting, and daily self-inspection, as well as reporting maintenance issues in the kitchen. The position is to be filled shortly and is a full-time (100%) role. Work hours are daytime, Monday through Friday. Are you the person we're looking for?
