With 67 hotel rooms, a restaurant, café, and conference facilities, we offer our guests something extraordinary. Now we are looking for a dedicated Chef to join our team. The position is varied and combines daily kitchen work. What does the role involve? As a Chef, you will have the opportunity to be creative, independent, and solution-focused. We are looking for someone with an eye for quality and detail. At the same time, you are unpretentious and not afraid to help where needed. Stepping in to support other departments when necessary is something you see as a natural part of the work. In this role, you will be creative and work with the details that bring together the hotel and the surrounding area on a plate. Our ambition is to work as much as possible with local producers for both food and beverages, and to nurture the creativity that exists in the kitchen. A shared goal is that we are there for our guests to provide the service that our visitors remember and want to return for. This requires great commitment from everyone who works at the hotel. We are looking for someone who: Has documented experience from a similar position Has a passion for food and service Is initiative-taking, creative, and well-organized Thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys working in a team Is flexible and experienced in working across boundaries Has good knowledge of Swedish, and preferably English Good to know: This is a permanent position at 100% with a 6-month probation period Working hours vary and include both weekdays and weekends Start date by agreement Gysinge Herrgård has a collective agreement via HRF Application: Submit your application by August 30, 2026 – recruitment is ongoing, so don't wait too long.
