About Us To the clinic for dental radiology within University Dental Care, we are now seeking a clinical instructor who wants to be part of the education of new dentists and dental hygienists. We are looking for someone who enjoys working with our curious and positive students. We offer a stimulating work environment with supportive and knowledgeable colleagues. Your Role As a clinical instructor, you will primarily teach and supervise students in the undergraduate dentistry and dental hygiene programs in dental radiology. Over time, the position may include course responsibility for the courses you teach. The position also includes clinical work at our home clinic or at University Dental Care's general dental clinic, the Teacher's Clinic. Clinical work and instruction as a clinical instructor may also take place in other clinical and preclinical subjects within the two education programs. You will have good opportunities to influence and contribute to the development of the radiological activities. Who Are You? Requirements: Licensed dentist (issued by the Swedish National Board of Health and Welfare) Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written Merits: Experience in teaching and supervising students in dental radiology Previous research experience resulting in publications or dissertation Clinical experience from a specialist dental care clinic in dental radiology Pedagogical experience We see that you are calm and confident, and have the ability to handle stressful situations constructively. You should be pedagogically skilled and have good social competence, as well as value good relationships with colleagues, students, and other staff. Other important qualities for this position are patience, flexibility, initiative, and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
