About the Research Group
The research group conducts research on brain tumors and lung cancer. Team members include doctoral researchers, postdocs, doctoral students, research engineers, and research nurses. Within our work group, we prioritize a good work environment characterized by respect and consideration in our relationships with one another.
The research group is now seeking a clinical assistant in tumor microenvironment. The position is full-time with a desired start date of September 26, 2026, through December 31, 2026.

Job Responsibilities
As a clinical assistant, you will work with experimental research, bioinformatic analysis, and compilation of results for publication.
Additional responsibilities within the research field may be assigned.
Qualifications
Requirements for employment:
- Completed medical degree or acceptance into a research-level education program in medicine at Lund University
- MSc with a focus on cancer research
- Experience in proteoglycan research, exosomes, and ferroptosis
Desirable Qualifications
- Extensive theoretical knowledge of the tumor microenvironment, particularly hypoxia and acidosis

This is a fixed-term position as a clinical assistant at 100%, for the period 26/9-31/12 2026.
