Would you like to be part of developing one of Skellefteå's fastest-growing sports activities? KFUM Skellefteå is a non-profit association working to develop and offer climbing and parkour in Skellefteå. Our climbing activities are growing rapidly. With larger facilities, more members, and growing interest, our association is embarking on an exciting development journey. We are now seeking a club developer who wants to help shape the next chapter. We want to create an inclusive, safe, and inspiring meeting place where both beginners and experienced practitioners can develop. You will work alongside committed leaders, an active board, and volunteers who every week make it possible for hundreds of children, young people, and adults to meet through movement and community. About the Role As a club developer, you will become a key person in the association. You will have a varied assignment where you work both strategically on the association's long-term development and are present in daily operations. You will work closely with the board, administration, and our committed leaders to create structure, develop activities, and give more people the opportunity to discover climbing and parkour. You will have considerable freedom to influence both the content of your work and how the activities develop. The role suits you if you enjoy building relationships, creating engagement, and turning ideas into reality. To thrive in this role, you need to be able to work independently, take your own initiative, and at the same time have an easy way of collaborating with different people and organizations. You don't need to be an expert in climbing or parkour – the most important thing is that you want to develop people and activities and are curious about getting to know our association. In the role, you will, among other things: develop the association's climbing and parkour activities initiate activities that strengthen engagement and attract new target groups support and develop leaders through training and leader meetings create a safe, welcoming, and well-organized hall environment where members and visitors feel comfortable develop collaborations with schools, the municipality, companies, and other organizations Support initiatives from members and contribute to more projects being carried out To fit the role, we see that you You are someone who enjoys making things happen. You are comfortable working both strategically and practically, have an easy way of building relationships, and are motivated by developing people and activities. We believe you have: experience in activity development, project management, or similar work experience in association work or other non-profit activities good organizational skills and a structured way of working good communication skills and experience collaborating with different target groups the ability to inspire, engage, and create participation We place great importance on personal suitability. It is an extra plus if you have experience with: climbing, parkour, or other sports activities leadership, education, or coaching member recruitment, communication, or digital tools project financing or grant applications The position involves some work in evenings and on weekends.
