About the Role
As a KAM, you will be responsible for developing business with your customers in the grocery retail sector. There are strong relationships in place, but also continued business opportunities. In the future, new customers may be added, even in the Nordic market.
You will drive your business using category and sales data, where you optimize assortment, negotiate prices, build campaign strategies, and maintain strong partnerships. Springhill's customer relationships are strong and long-term. It is a competitive market where you need to stay one step ahead and ensure a strong offering.
To support you, you have many skilled colleagues. You work closely with your fellow KAMs as well as the Category Manager, sales coordinator, and product and design managers. The role reports to the Sales Manager for grocery retail.
Examples of responsibilities:
Drive and develop business with your customers in the grocery retail sector
Drive strong category work together with customers and maintain good collaborations over time
Drive long-term development and product projects with customers
Take responsibility for negotiations
Ensure targets are met and budgets are delivered through assortment, volume, pricing, placement, and close dialogue with your customers
Manage goals, priorities, implementation, and oversight of external merchandising companies at your customer locations
Stay attuned to customer needs and the broader market
Experience and Qualifications
To succeed in this role, we believe you have:
Post-secondary education, though your experience and personality matter most
Experience from grocery retail
Knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite
Fluent skills in Swedish and English
It is a merit if you have had Nordic responsibility before, but it is not a requirement
