At the Corporate Office for Procurement and Financial Management, approximately 75 employees work across four units with the mission to drive Region Skåne's procurement business for goods and services. The procurement function carries out public procurements for approximately ten billion kronor annually.

WORK TASKS
In this role, you will:
• Build and further develop frameworks, approaches, and methodological support for category management
• Drive the implementation of the category-based approach together with the business operations
• Lead and facilitate the work of developing category strategies
• Support and coach managers and colleagues in the approach
• Guide and conduct analyses (e.g., spend, market, risk)
• Follow up and visualize results related to cost, quality, and contract compliance
You work without formal personnel responsibility but with a clear mandate from procurement leadership and with a broad network of contacts across the organization.
During your first time with us, you will, among other things:
• Establish structure, templates, and training/information materials
• Ensure anchoring in management and prioritized business operations
• Drive pilot categories from analysis to strategy
• Contribute to strengthening the organization's capabilities in category management

QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for you with relevant academic education in, for example, procurement, economics, logistics, law, or another education that we assess as equivalent, and who has experience with category management or other strategic procurement work. You are accustomed to working analytically and translating data, such as spend, market, or risk analyses, into concrete decisions and priorities. Furthermore, you have experience driving development, change, or projects in larger organizations and thrive in a role where you can take initiative, create structure, and drive work forward together with others.
It is advantageous if you have:
• Experience building and implementing category-based procurement/approach in a larger organization
• Experience developing and driving category-based approach within a larger organization
• Experience with public operations and/or public procurement regulations
• Worked with supplier management or follow-up
• Experience in change management
