We're developing our processes, systems, and ways of working toward more data-driven and category-managed procurement that strengthens both business value and sustainability. As a category leader for consultants, HR, and administration, you'll take a comprehensive approach to a category that's critical for our organization to function efficiently and grow sustainably. You drive the business from needs analysis and market dialogue to procurement, contracts, and realized outcomes. Together with cross-functional teams, you create scalable, secure, and business-oriented solutions that provide the business with the right expertise, the right support, and the right structure to reach our goals. You use data and market insights to make well-founded decisions, build strong business relationships, and ensure our procurement complies with LUF and, when relevant, LOU. This means you secure deals that hold over time and deliver direct value – for the business, our employees, and the society we operate in. Your Primary Responsibilities Lead cross-functional category teams and drive the work from needs analysis to realized outcomes. Ensure clear requirements definition and secure follow-up of consultants, HR services, and administrative support deliveries. Own and develop category and sourcing strategies based on market knowledge, risk analysis, sustainability, and business rationale. Conduct procurements for consultants, HR solutions, and administrative services with a holistic perspective where quality, total cost of ownership, and long-term capability carry significant weight. Negotiate and enter into agreements that create stability, flexibility, and long-term value – and ensure that governance and follow-up deliver actual results. Work data-driven and monitor costs, quality, risks, and results to develop the category and contribute to Mälarenergi's journey toward net zero. We're Looking for You We're seeking someone who can translate data, market insights, and risk assessments into well-considered, sustainable, and value-creating decisions. You have experience with strategic procurement work and preferably a background in consultant procurement, HR services, administrative services, or related areas where business acumen, relationships, and competency supply are central to the business. You're experienced in driving cross-functional processes from needs analysis and requirements definition to strategy, procurement, contracts, and monitored outcomes. You understand public governance and regulations and thrive in an environment where transparency and structure are important building blocks. In negotiations, you're analytical and clear, with the ability to create solutions that work both day-to-day and long-term. Through structured follow-up of contracts and deliveries, you drive quality, efficiency, and sustainability – with an approach that builds trust and collaboration. Working data-driven comes naturally to you. You use Excel and BI tools to identify patterns, risks, and opportunities and to provide the business with well-substantiated recommendations. You express yourself clearly and professionally in Swedish and English, both verbally and in writing. An academic degree is a merit, but solid and relevant experience is valued equally.
