About the position Our team within the product organization works to optimize the machinery fleet across Lambertsson's various segments. We are embarking on a digital development journey of our working methods and services, while maintaining strong communication with operations at our depots. As a Category Manager, you will, together with a colleague, be responsible for the construction equipment category and rental accessories at the national level. Together with operations, suppliers, and other category managers, you will develop the product range and ensure an efficient and profitable machinery fleet based on customer needs. In this role, you will, among other things: Develop and optimize the machinery fleet based on business, customer needs, and profitability. Responsible for product range, product development, and selected supplier relationships. Procure, distribute, and invest according to the investment plan and budget you develop. Ensure that products and working methods meet requirements in safety, environment, and occupational health. Develop guidelines for usage, maintenance, and lifecycle management. Monitor market trends and technical developments within the construction and rental industry. Participate in category teams and drive development and improvement initiatives. The role involves many contact points where you collaborate with colleagues, suppliers, and customers through both digital and physical meetings. Placement will likely be in Mälardalen, Stockholm, or Sundsvall. Travel is part of the position and a B-class driver's license is therefore required. Who are you?
