What you can expect from the position You will be an important part of the store's management team with overall responsibility for driving and developing our checkout, customer service, and café departments. You are responsible for planning and monitoring operations, including scheduling, financial accountability, and quality work. Your focus is on creating efficient workflows, a good work environment, and top-class customer service. You lead your team members through your presence in daily operations and ensure they are well trained in customer service procedures, complaint handling, and cash management. In the café, you are responsible for ensuring compliance with food hygiene regulations and other applicable rules. You work closely with the store manager in the shared goal of driving the store forward. The position is a permanent employment and begins with a 6-month probationary period. Employment is full-time, 40 hours/week. What we expect from you We are looking for someone with documented leadership experience in retail. Perhaps you have previously held a position as a store manager in a smaller store where you had overall responsibility for both personnel and operations. Or you may have worked in a management position with responsibility for personnel, sales, or operations without being ultimately responsible, but now feel ready to take the next step in your development. A requirement is that you are confident in your leadership, experienced in making decisions, and have a strong drive to develop both people and processes. It is advantageous if you have previously worked with customer service, checkout, or café, but what is most important is that you have a good understanding of how to create efficient teams and high service quality. As a person, you are action-oriented, solution-focused, and organized. You thrive in a varied environment, are not afraid to roll up your sleeves when needed, and value order and organization around you. You lead by being present, engaged, and by setting a good example.
