What you can expect from the position You will be an important part of the store's management team with overall responsibility for driving and developing our checkout, customer service, and café departments. You are responsible for planning and monitoring operations, including scheduling, financial results, and quality work. Your focus is on creating efficient workflows, a good work environment, and a top-class service experience. You lead your team members through your presence in daily operations and ensure they are well-trained in procedures for customer service, complaint handling, and cash management. In the café, you are responsible for ensuring compliance with food hygiene and other regulations. You work closely with the store manager in the common task of driving the store forward. This is a longer-term substitute position where working hours vary and include evenings and weekends. The weekly working time is 40 h/week. What we expect from you We are looking for someone with documented leadership experience in retail. Perhaps you have previously held a position as a store manager in a smaller store, where you had overall responsibility for both staff and operations. Or you may have worked in a leadership position with responsibility for staff, sales, or operations, without being ultimately responsible, but now feel ready to take the next step in your development. A prerequisite is that you are confident in your leadership, accustomed to making decisions, and have a strong drive to develop both people and processes. It is a merit if you have previously worked with customer service, checkout, or café/restaurant, but the most important thing is that you have a good understanding of how to create efficient teams and high service quality. As a person, you are decisive, solution-focused, and organized. You thrive in a varied environment, are not afraid to pitch in where needed, and value order and organization around you.
