WHO ARE WE?
Jobcenter works on behalf of the Swedish Public Employment Service with the Rusta and Matcha 2 (ROM2) service. "ROM2" is a program for those who have been job seeking for a while and are assessed by the Swedish Public Employment Service to need support in their job search. As a Career Consultant with us, you support and help job seekers move forward to employment or studies. ABOUT THE POSITION:
-Career Consultant on a part-time basis, initially 50%, based at our office in Värnamo. Good opportunities for expanded hours when working in nearby locations as well.
-Six-month probation period, with the possibility of a permanent employment contract. Start date as soon as possible by agreement.
Monthly salary by agreement.
As a Career Consultant at Jobcenter, you will be involved in developing and building up operations at your office.
Part of the work involves working individually with participants, and the rest of the time you will focus on your existing network of employers, as well as developing and expanding it to optimize the chances of matching your participants with the right employer. Collaborating with local and regional education providers is also part of your work, as education is an optional choice for participants.
As a career consultant, you map out your participants' skills and goals, and together you create a joint plan forward that you follow. Of course, you ensure that CVs and cover letters are of the highest quality, coach for interviews, and support participants through conversations and digital development when needed.
Your tasks also include administrative work in our internal systems and reporting to the Swedish Public Employment Service.
You will also be responsible for planning and conducting weekly activities such as group activities with participants.

You are also a good administrator and have good computer skills, as the position involves some digital administrative work for reporting and documentation. Handling email, internet, Microsoft Teams, Office suite, etc. is necessary.
Experience with, for example, Workbuster and the Swedish Public Employment Service's "My Pages for independent actors" is advantageous.
REQUIREMENTS FOR THE POSITION:
We are looking for you who have worked in the field of job matching/recruitment for at least 2 years and now seek new challenges.
Fluent Swedish in both speech and writing.
The Swedish Public Employment Service approves competence for counselors according to alternative 1 or alternative 2:
Alternative 1
University education of at least 180 higher education credits (120 credits according to the previous system).
AND
At least two (2) years of work experience equivalent to full-time, regardless of industry. Part-time can also be approved if the combined work time equals full-time over two (2) years.
Alternative 2
At least one (1) year of full-time studies at post-secondary level with at least a passing grade. Post-secondary education includes university education and various types of vocational training, for example qualified vocational training, vocational college education, military training, and police training.
AND
At least three (3) years of work experience equivalent to full-time in one or more of the following professions or work tasks:
-Management with personnel responsibility.
-Recruitment.
-Transition work for job seekers.
-Study and career guidance.
-Handling of personnel matters (not only personnel administration).
-Work with labor market and employment issues.
-Work with social and group psychology.
-Career guidance.
Part-time work can also be approved if the combined work time equals full-time over three (3) years.
ADVANTAGEOUS FOR THE POSITION:
• You speak one or more languages in addition to Swedish and English.
Salary type: Fixed monthly, weekly, or hourly salary
