Nitator Stainless Steel is a well-established company with over 100 years of experience in stainless steel, and we are now seeking to strengthen our operations with an edge press operator. The machines we manufacture are represented worldwide. We offer our customers a "Turn-Key-Solution," meaning the entire process chain including design and development, manufacturing, assembly and installation, FAT testing, and service. The company is undergoing a transformation where employees play a significant role in the company's future development. As an edge press operator, you work with the manufacturing and forming of sheet metal according to drawings/CAD files. You are responsible for setting up and operating the edge press, and for ensuring that parts meet the correct quality and dimensions/angles. The work takes place in close collaboration with colleagues in production. Handles bending lengths up to 8 meters and a press force of 800 tons (2x4m and 400 tons respectively) You are responsible for: Reading and interpreting technical drawings Setting and adjusting machines Ensuring that parts meet the correct dimensions/angles and quality Performing ongoing quality controls Contributing to an efficient and structured production flow The work requires precision, technical interest, and a feel for accuracy. We are looking for someone who: Has experience with edge pressing Is accustomed to reading drawings Is quality-conscious and responsible Enjoys working independently but also as part of a team Has a positive attitude and wants to develop long-term Has a forklift license and pallet truck certification Swedish in speech and writing Meritorious: Previously worked with Ursvik control systems Sheet metal rolling Working hours are scheduled during daytime.
