We are looking for a Cost Engineering Specialist with a focus on mass handling who wants to work in early stages calculating jobs, coordinating excavation materials, creating material flows and contributing to our projects and operations getting the best possible conditions.
The position is placed in the Vehicles, Warehousing and Workshop unit, which also includes some overarching services for the entire Execution Services operation, including procurement coordinators and executive support. The unit consists of 13 employees plus a unit manager.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Job responsibilities included in the role are:
• Prepare cost estimates, prices and decision-making materials in early stages
• Coordinate and optimize the handling of excavation materials and material flows
• Facilitate the organization in making clear and accurate orders
• Support both projects and operations in procurement, follow-up and cost estimates
• Work closely with project managers, execution organization and external actors
• The role is varied and you will have contact with many different parts of the organization.
QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for someone who:
• Has relevant education in cost estimation, logistics, procurement or related field
• Has the ability to independently drive work and projects from start to finish
• Has experience from construction, civil engineering, infrastructure or industrial projects
• Thrives in a collaborative role with many contact points, such as clients, project managers, foremen, controllers and contractors
• Has experience with cost estimation work in infrastructure projects and earthwork contracts
• Wants to contribute to developing efficient, structured and sustainable work methods
• Has experience working with cost estimates throughout the project phases from investigation and tender to production budget and follow-up
