About the Position
As an estimating engineer, you will work throughout the entire estimation process, from request for proposal documents to completed bid proposals. Being involved in early stages with ongoing estimates and developing production estimates are important tasks for you. In this role, you will analyze, identify, and find creative solutions to our customers' requirements while maintaining a long-term perspective focused on profitability, quality, and work environment.
You will be part of a work management group while also collaborating closely with the region's estimating team. The position is based at our office in Rönninge.
Requirement Profile
We believe you thrive and contribute in this role if you have industry experience and knowledge of bidding procedures. Perhaps you have worked specifically with request for proposal documents and bids, submissions, and key figures and climate estimates? Or maybe you have gathered knowledge from various construction projects.
We are looking for an operational estimating engineer who, through your construction expertise, will work on developing and submitting our bids to our customers. Bid work is the beginning and foundation of our entire business, and it gives you great opportunities to influence the future design of society.
You speak and write Swedish fluently.
Competencies and Personal Qualities
As a person, you can handle structure even during periods with tight deadlines. Your previous industry experience enables you to critically review documents and make reasonableness assessments while constantly acting as a problem-solver to create creative solutions within the industry's framework. You are business-minded and cost-conscious and have the ability to build good relationships with people around you, which makes you a team player who enjoys collaborating with others. If you have previous experience working as a site manager, contract engineer, or procurement specialist, that is a merit.
Great emphasis will be placed on your personality.
The position is a permanent employment that begins with a six-month probationary period.
