Do you want to work with estimating and bidding in a role where you can combine your experience from the HVAC industry with an analytical and structured approach? We are now looking for an HVAC Estimator who wants to help create favorable conditions for well-executed and profitable projects. Climat80 Gruppen is a reliable and long-term property partner within ventilation, heating and sanitation, refrigeration, electrical, automation and property management. Climat80 Gruppen includes Climat80, Klimatkyl, Elfast, Lunds Värme & Sanitet and Stjernfeldts VVS and is owned by ARE Sverige AB. About the Role As an HVAC Estimator, you are responsible for preparing bid proposals based on specified requirements. We work with both service and projects. Our customers are primarily public facilities, property management companies and construction companies. We work with everything from complex hospital environments to traditional HVAC installations, which means there is great variety in our inquiries. We work primarily according to ABT but AB also occurs. You develop an estimate based on specified requirements and conditions in consultation with those responsible for the various bids. The work involves close contact with department managers, suppliers, subcontractors and other estimators involved in the bidding work. You also actively contribute to developing work methods, tools and processes to make estimating work more efficient and reliable. The position reports to the Business Area Manager HVAC as our support functions are centrally organized and work with all departments. Your Main Responsibilities Prepare estimates and bid proposals Perform quantity calculations and pricing Calculate material costs, labor costs and other project costs Prepare inquiry documents for subcontractors Obtain and compile material prices from suppliers Submit bids in consultation with the department manager Collaborate with colleagues and other estimators during bid work Contribute to more efficient work methods and modern tools within estimating Work according to the company's management system for quality, environment and occupational health and safety Your Background We are looking for someone with several years of experience from the pipe/HVAC industry with relevant post-secondary education or equivalent knowledge acquired through work experience. You have previous experience with estimating and are accustomed to working with technical and economic documentation. We would like you to have: Several years of experience from the pipe/HVAC industry Relevant post-secondary education or equivalent work experience Knowledge of contract law Knowledge of BBR, VVS AMA and Säker Vatten Experience in production estimating Understanding of business and project economics Knowledge of occupational health and safety issues For this position, you must have good command of the Swedish language in both speech and writing.
