Your Responsibilities
As an estimator, you are responsible for developing estimates and bids for the company's construction projects. You work independently with support from the site manager, CEO, and project managers to ensure that bids are well-developed and competitive.
Your responsibilities include:
Analyzing tender documentation, drawings, technical descriptions, and other documents
Performing take-offs and preparing estimates for construction contracts
Obtaining and evaluating quotes from subcontractors and suppliers
Conducting risk and opportunity analyses before bidding
Participating in developing production schedules, timelines, and budget foundations
Presenting estimates and bidding strategies to the site manager and management
Contributing to budget and forecast work after won projects and supporting the project organization during handover and startup
Who We Are Looking For
We are looking for someone with a genuine interest in estimation and bidding work, driven by creating well-developed documentation. You are analytical, structured, and comfortable working independently while also collaborating easily with other functions within the organization.
We are looking for someone with:
Construction technical education from vocational school, university, or equivalent experience
Several years of experience in estimation, bidding, or project work within the construction industry
Strong ability to read and interpret drawings, descriptions, and technical documents
Experience with estimation software, such as Wikells or equivalent systems
Good knowledge of Excel and other digital tools
B driver's license
Excellent knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written
