We are looking for a driven and experienced estimator in electrical work who wants to play an important role in our continued growth.
With us, you won't just be the person sitting with a spreadsheet calculating hours and materials.
You will be a key person in our business – from the initial inquiry to a completed bid and further into the project.
About the Role
As an estimator, you will have a central role in our bidding work.
Among other things, you will
Review tender documents, drawings, and technical specifications.
Estimate materials, labor, overhead, and other project costs.
Source and negotiate prices from suppliers and subcontractors.
Identify risks, opportunities, and cost drivers.
Prepare well-developed and competitive bids.
Help develop our estimation and bidding processes.
Maintain close contact with project managers, customers, suppliers, and production.
In short: you will help decide which projects we should take on – and how to make them profitable.
Who Are You?
We believe you have some years of experience in estimation in the industry, perhaps you are already working as an estimator, construction engineer, or project manager. Or you are an experienced electrician or site supervisor who feels it's time to take the next step.
We also believe you have a good understanding of electrical installations.
Can read drawings and technical documents.
Are comfortable with numbers and financial calculations.
Are thorough without getting caught up in details.
Have a commercial mindset and understand what makes a good business.
Are organized and used to meeting deadlines.
