Estimating Manager for Construction & Civil Engineering

On behalf of our client, we are now seeking an Assistant Chief Estimator with the ambition to eventually take over responsibility for the estimating function. Our client is a well-established player in the construction and civil engineering sector with a strong market position. Over the past two decades, they have grown steadily and completed extensive projects for both private and public sectors. With a strong focus on technical innovation and digital solutions, they are a driving force in the industry's development. They have completed projects for both private and public clients throughout the country, including construction of schools, office spaces, residential buildings, and industrial properties. The company offers services including foundation work, earthwork, fine grading, and rock work. This position is a direct recruitment, which means the recruitment process is handled by Futuria People, but you will be employed directly by the client. About the role This is a strategically important recruitment where you will gradually grow into the role of Chief Estimator. You will work closely with the current Chief Estimator during a transition period while contributing your own ideas, developing work methods, and helping the organization take the next step. In this role, you will among other things: Manage estimation and bidding work for construction and civil engineering projects Participate in bid reviews and risk assessments Develop structure, processes, and quality assurance within estimation work Work closely with production, site managers, and management Contribute to business development and identification of new business opportunities Build and develop customer relationships Eventually take on greater responsibility for the estimating function and its development We are looking for you who Have experience in estimation, bidding, or project management within construction, civil engineering, foundation work, or related contracting activities. You don't need to be a Chief Estimator today. The most important thing is that you have the right drive, business acumen, and willingness to develop toward a future leadership role.
