SIA "Rīgas nami" invites applications for: SENIOR JURIST Development and Construction Projects Management Department WE OFFER: Opportunity to work on development and construction projects that are significant for Rīga City; Opportunity to be legally involved in the implementation of development and construction projects throughout their entire life cycle - from the preparation of procurement documents and contracts to the handover of the object for operation; Monthly salary 2500 EUR (gross); Health insurance after the probation period and other additional benefits provided for in the collective labor agreement; Flexible working hours and possibility to work part-time and remotely; Workplace in the center of Rīga and all technical equipment necessary for the performance of duties; Professional development opportunities and daily collaboration with experienced project and technical specialists. YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR: Providing legal support to projects implemented by the Development and Construction Projects Management Department throughout their entire life cycle; Preparing and legally evaluating design, construction, author's supervision, construction supervision, expert review and other project-related contracts, their amendments and procurement documents; Evaluating additional work, changes in scope and price, time extensions, work suspension, penalties, contract termination and other contract performance issues; Preparing and evaluating notices, claims, requests, objections and other legal correspondence; Preparing legal opinions and other documents necessary for management decision-making, as well as maintaining legal document templates; Participating in the work of procurement commissions and working groups, in negotiations and dispute resolution, as well as representing the company's interests within the scope of authority (work in procurement commission is associated with the status of a state official). WE EXPECT YOU TO HAVE: Higher academic education or second-level professional higher education in law; At least 2 (two) years of legal work experience, including practical experience in contract preparation and legal evaluation; Experience with construction or real estate development contracts and issues related to their performance; Understanding of public procurement regulations; experience working with FIDIC contracts will be considered an advantage; Ability to independently analyze complex legal and contractual issues and offer well-reasoned, practically implementable solutions; Precision, high sense of responsibility and ability to set priorities and meet deadlines; Good negotiation, argumentation and collaboration skills, including the ability to work with technical specialists; Knowledge of the state language at C2 level and good computer skills in Microsoft Office.
