Saldus Municipality (Reg. No. 90009234304) is announcing open positions for a Jurist Requirements for candidates: • Higher education in law or economics and at least one year of work experience in public procurement; • Knowledge of regulatory requirements in the field of public procurement; • State language proficiency at an advanced level; • Excellent computer skills (MS Office applications, EIS); • Excellent communication skills, responsiveness, initiative, positive attitude; • Precision, high sense of responsibility; • Work experience in a legal position will be considered an advantage. Main responsibilities: • Work with public procurements in accordance with the Public Procurement Law, ensuring the organization of public procurements and procurement procedures; • Develop procurement procedure documentation; • Review, edit, and prepare drafts of procurement notices and their annexes, request and compile necessary documents (work assignments, technical specifications, scope of work-estimates, etc.); • Provide consultation to municipality employees on procurement execution, organization, and contract conclusion; • Develop procurement contracts, including preparing agreements on amendments; • Administer the progress of procurements and the publication of procurement results in the Electronic Procurement System in accordance with regulatory requirements and the Procurement Supervision Office publication management system (e-forms); We offer: • Responsible and interesting work in a professional team; • Salary EUR 1881.00 before tax deduction; • Opportunities for professional development and growth.
