About the Assignment We at Novare are a proud and approved supplier of the Swedish government framework agreement. We are now seeking two consultants with legal expertise for an assignment with a government agency located in Jönköping. In this role, you will primarily work with confidentiality assessments of documents related to requests for disclosure of public records. The tasks also include handling appeals of disclosures, cases concerning disclosure within private operations, and matters related to the takeover of archive records. You will also support managers and employees with legal matters and conduct minor legal investigations within this area. Other tasks may occur. In this position, the following tasks may also occur: - conduct investigations with legal focus - prepare and review contracts and other legal documents - follow legal developments and assist with advice within the current legal area As a consultant at the agency, you work in a socially important operation where legal certainty, structure, and quality are in focus. We are therefore seeking someone who is service-oriented, flexible, and solution-focused. You have good self-leadership, are responsible, and find it easy to quickly familiarize yourself with new tasks and operations. Requirements for the Position - law degree (jur kand.), legal degree, or equivalent education - at least one (1) year of professional experience as a lawyer - good knowledge of MS Office or equivalent - ability to communicate fluently in Swedish, both orally and in writing - ability to quickly analyze and conduct legally certain confidentiality assessments - Good knowledge of: Public Access to Information and Secrecy Act (OSL), Freedom of the Press Ordinance (TF), General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) in relation to disclosure, Administrative Procedure Act - Ability to provide a reference from previous similar assignments Assignment Period and Scope The assignment is full-time, 100% with start by agreement and runs for approximately 5 months. The placement location is at the agency's office in Jönköping. Remote work may be permitted, but initially the consultant is expected to work on-site.
