Now we're looking for you—a lawyer who wants to work close to the business and who thrives in a consulting role.
About the Role
This is not a traditional legal position. You will still work with qualified commercial tenant law, but you'll do it as an integrated part of our customer projects. You are involved from start to finish: from analysis and strategy to negotiation and implementation. In this role, you will:
Work in projects together with real estate consultants, project managers, and workplace strategists
Participate in customer dialogues and contribute to comprehensive solutions, not just legal answers. Sometimes you will also have ultimate customer responsibility.
Negotiate and review lease agreements
Support business decisions where legal considerations are part of broader evaluations
Handle processes related to lease terminations and referrals of lease disputes
In certain assignments take on a more consultant-like role, for example by:
Participating in lease negotiations
Contributing to premises strategies and analyses
Dialogue with property owners and other external parties
Represent clients before the rent tribunal and court when needed (though this doesn't happen very often)
Conduct training in commercial tenant law for both external and internal participants
You will become part of a team where we are four lawyers who together are responsible for developing business, building relationships, and delivering high-quality projects.
We're Looking for You If You
Have a law degree and several years of relevant work experience in commercial tenant law
Have a clear commercial drive and an interest in business and real estate
Enjoy working closely with clients and contributing to both legal and business matters
Thrive in a consulting role where assignments vary and you enjoy taking personal responsibility
Have the ability to independently drive and complete assignments
It is a merit if you also have litigation experience as well as experience with construction law or planning and building law.
To succeed in this role, you need to be curious, solution-oriented, and comfortable working at the intersection of law and business.
