Eltel has won new business and we need to strengthen our team in Luleå with more technicians!😊 What are my work tasks? ⚡👷‍♀️⚒️ As a technician with us, you maintain critical infrastructure; you build and service the communication networks of the future, plain and simple. The work tasks consist mainly of building property and office networks, installing outlets, setting up equipment – such as screens or projectors – the kind of things needed in an office environment. Examples of work tasks: Install fiber and copper networks Mount outlets and access points Install equipment in conference rooms Install data network cables to new workstations Install cable trays Terminate copper connections Troubleshooting Simple electrical work In some cases, lighter electrical work as well as welding and blowing of fiber may also occur. Work is usually performed indoors. As a technician, you have many different contacts; with our production planner who distributes and assigns work to available technicians, and with customers when needed. Sometimes you need to procure what's needed to solve the customer's problem yourself, and in that case, communication is A and O. You report time daily via phone or computer and report progress during and after completed work. Of course, you maintain close dialogue with our production planner and our customers so they stay updated on how the work is progressing. You work mainly in Luleå, but travel may occur as we always help each other in the team when needed.
