About the position The Swedish eHealth Agency has been tasked with building a national digital infrastructure within health, care, and social services to support and enable the sharing of health data between healthcare systems. The infrastructure will help improve the quality of care, enhance patient safety, strengthen the patient's position, and reduce the administrative burden for healthcare and social services staff. In your role as a systems developer with us, you will work in an agile team in close collaboration with analysts and business specialists who continuously deliver value. You will have the support of experienced colleagues in the team, and this is a role for you who wants to learn and develop as a systems developer. You work closely with your colleagues and together you are responsible for the quality of the code that is created. You will develop components that become the hub for integrations and e-services that make healthcare more cohesive and efficient. About you We are looking for someone who is passionate about technology but always lets user needs guide your decisions when creating digital solutions. You are curious and quickly absorb new knowledge – what you don't know today you're happy to learn tomorrow. You enjoy collaborating with others and find it rewarding to work toward common goals. It is self-evident to you to take personal responsibility and drive tasks forward while maintaining a flexible attitude. We are looking for someone who has: - Academic education of at least 180 credits in IT, software, or programming (education must be completed before employment begins) - Strong knowledge of object-oriented programming, for example in Java or similar languages - Understanding of version control of code - Understanding of different types of software testing and secure software development - Knowledge of web development and/or backend principles - Ability to understand and use basic data structures such as lists, queues, stacks, hash tables, trees, and graphs - Ability to solve technical and computational problems through programming and justify choice of algorithms and data structures It is advantageous for the position if you have: - Experience with the following technologies/tools: Java SQL Git Linux Modern JavaScript frameworks, for example Vue - Understanding of microservice architecture, REST, OCI containers, and Kubernetes - Understanding of different types of software testing and secure software development - Experience from internships, summer jobs, or thesis work in software development What do we offer?
