About the Role
We're looking for someone with a strong technical foundation in fields such as engineering physics, engineering mathematics, or electrical engineering who wants to work at the intersection of sensors, signal processing, and machine learning.
In this role, you'll work with processing and analyzing sensor signals so they can be used by algorithms for detection, classification, and identification. It's about understanding the entire chain, from sensor and raw signal to feature extraction, modeling, and output.
The role is in an environment with high demands for security, robustness, and reliability, and experience from defense-related IT or communications systems, government-adjacent work, or other complex organizations can provide valuable understanding of the assignment. It's also an environment where technical breadth and a willingness to develop are appreciated.
You will be employed as a consultant with us at Infuse Talent and work on-site with our customer in central Stockholm, with the idea that you'll have the opportunity to continue your career with them in the long term.

The customer is a Nordic company developing technical solutions for the defense industry and is in a strong growth phase. The organization has senior specialists who will be able to support you in your work and good development opportunities for someone who sees signal processing, machine learning, and sensors as an exciting field.

Who Are You?
We believe you:
have an educational background in engineering physics, engineering mathematics, electrical engineering, or similar
have taken courses in signal processing and preferably worked with audio analysis or other sensor data
understand classical machine learning, for example classification, detection, or feature-based models
have strong programming skills in Python
can see the connection between sensor, signal, feature extraction, model, and result
We'd like to see that you're driven, collaborative, and curious, with an open mindset and the ability to approach new challenges in a solution-focused way.
Furthermore, the position requires Swedish citizenship as the work may involve contact with defense classified information, as well as good communication skills in both Swedish and English.
