We're now looking for a junior security technician to join an experienced team where you'll have the opportunity to learn the trade from the ground up and grow with the role. More about the job As a junior security technician, you'll become part of a security organization that works with installation, commissioning, and service of various types of security systems. You'll work with, among other things, burglar alarms, CCTV, locks, access systems, and fire alarms. Initially, you'll receive support from experienced colleagues and gradually learn more about the systems, work methods, and customer needs. The role is therefore suitable for you if you have a technical foundation and want to build on it in practice. Your work tasks will include, among other things: Installation of security systems Participate in commissioning and configuration Service and basic troubleshooting Maintenance of security systems Documentation of completed work Collaboration with project managers and other technicians Contact with customers on various assignments You'll work both independently and together with colleagues. Projects vary in size and scope, and travel within Norr- and Västerbotten occurs regularly. Requirements Electrical, telecommunications, or other equivalent technical education Class B driver's license for manual transmission Good knowledge of Swedish and English Ability to travel for work A genuine interest in technology and desire to develop within security technology Merits Education in security technology Education in electrical engineering Education in IT or network technology Education in electrical design Practical experience in installation, electrical work, telecommunications, or similar Experience in technical work or troubleshooting Knowledge of networking and Windows More about you We're looking for someone who is at the beginning of their technical career and wants to develop within security technology. About our client Our client is an established player in installation and security with operations throughout Sweden. The security organization in northern Sweden consists of approximately 27 people with broad expertise in, among other things, fire alarms, CCTV, burglar alarms, locks, and access systems. The organization handles the entire chain from consulting and design to project management, installation, commissioning, service, and maintenance. Operations are growing and now seeking additional technical expertise for the team. You'll join an entrepreneurial organization with short decision-making paths, experienced colleagues, and strong focus on competence development.
