We are now recruiting a junior security specialist to the Security Support unit within the Common Functions division. About the Position Security specialists from the unit work together with projects on planning and implementing the project's overall security efforts, and otherwise provide support to project management on security matters. You will work both with the unit's security specialists and drive your own projects in parallel. Your main responsibilities: Conducting specific security protection assessments together with projects Supporting projects in the process of signing security protection agreements Participating in knowledge-building initiatives Providing overall support to the project on security matters Within this role, you will have excellent opportunities to deepen your knowledge across all areas of security protection. You will also have good opportunities to specialize in work with security-sensitive operations and critical national infrastructure. You will contribute to Svenska kraftnät's work with the green energy transition and help protect critical national infrastructure in a changing world. The Security Support unit is part of the Internal Security section within the Security and Preparedness Department. The unit currently consists of eight employees plus a unit manager, with a mix of both permanent staff and consultants. About You Required Qualifications: We are looking for someone who is collaborative and enjoys working with others to achieve common goals. You are structured and have the ability to plan and organize your work efficiently. The role requires you to be relationship-oriented, as you will build and maintain good contacts both internally and externally. We also see that you are curious and have a strong desire to learn and develop within the security field. Since we are seeking a junior profile, we see that you have a positive attitude toward growing in the role and are curious about acquiring new knowledge and working methods. We see that you have academic or other post-secondary education in, for example, law, political science, security, security protection, or other work experience that the employer deems relevant for the position. You also have: Relevant work experience in security and/or security protection Good knowledge of the Security Protection Act (2018:585), its requirements, and associated regulations Very good ability to express yourself in speech and writing in Swedish It is advantageous if you have: Experience working with critical national infrastructure Experience working with security-sensitive operations Experience working within government or public administration Good to Know The position is located in Sundbyberg Opportunity for remote work up to 40%, if work permits. #LI-hybrid.
