Your new position
You will work in our Process & Facilities unit at our office in Västerås. Assignments are often related to district heating or district cooling systems, but may also involve energy supply for industries. The assignments will range from preliminary studies and investigations to implementation projects.
We are looking for someone who is technically curious and wants to work with sustainable solutions in the energy sector. As a designer/engineer for piping systems at FVB, you will be an important part of the project team and contribute with technical solutions and drawings in exciting industrial projects. You will work with technical design and construction of piping systems, 3D modeling, and preparation of drawing documentation.
The work is characterized by great freedom with responsibility both toward customers and colleagues. At FVB, we strive for a high degree of collaboration, both within and between groups and offices.
Your profile
We would like to see that you have experience in piping design or mechanical construction, for example in energy facilities or process industries. You have an eye for detail, good technical understanding, and enjoy working both independently and in a team.
You have relevant engineering education, for example in energy or mechanical engineering. You speak Swedish fluently in both speech and writing and have good knowledge of English. A class B driver's license is required as travel is part of the position.

Employment form and recruitment process
The position is a permanent full-time employment with placement at the headquarters in Västerås. Applications are handled on an ongoing basis as availability permits during the vacation period. Work psychological tests and background checks may be relevant in the selection process.
