Are you practically inclined and technically interested?

As a future installation technician at Installationsgruppen, you will mainly work with simpler tasks such as cable routing to start with, and later learn to install telecom, data, fiber, alarms, camera surveillance, indoor coverage for 4G, 5G, and RAKEL. You will work a great deal physically, so it's good if you have good physical fitness, enjoy varying work tasks, and like going out to help different customers alongside a more experienced colleague. This involves pulling cables, performing installations, labeling, and documenting at our customers' sites, which are primarily located in the Greater Stockholm area and Mälardalen, where you will mainly work in the Stockholm area.
Sometimes we also have assignments in other parts of Sweden and occasionally work abroad. So it's a varied job with a mix of larger and smaller projects, meaning you need to be comfortable changing environments from time to time.
You need to have a genuine technical interest in problem-solving, not be afraid to "roll up your sleeves" with practical work, and most importantly – HIGH WORK ETHIC, which is part of our company culture. If you have a technical education and/or are generally skilled in construction or are a handy person who knows some electrical work, that's certainly a merit, but the most important thing is that you are productive and results-oriented with the interest and ambition to learn to become skilled. Perhaps you've tried work in the construction industry as a carpenter or assembly worker, or perhaps you have experience from the IT world. Regardless of your background, your ambition should be to deliver quality craftsmanship, develop, and become good at what you do.
If you live further away, we may be able to arrange a private section in an apartment with shared common areas for some of our installation technicians in Sollentuna.
