Job Description
Do you want to work with technical systems and help ensure they function – over time?
We are continuing to establish Sigma Technology Engineering in Östergötland.
We are building a business area focused on qualified roles in engineering, systems, and lifecycle management – and we are now looking for you who are at the beginning of your career and want to develop through our customer assignments.
This is an opportunity for you who want to combine technical understanding, analysis, and collaboration – where you have the chance to grow into a specialist role and work with complex systems in technology-intensive environments.
About the Role
In this role, you will work with understanding, analyzing, and improving how technical systems function over their lifetime.
You will contribute to ensuring that products and systems are available, reliable, and efficient over time, while developing together with experienced colleagues.
Your work tasks may include:
- Supporting analyses related to maintenance, availability, and reliability
- Working with lifecycle perspective in technical systems (LCM/LSA)
- Developing documentation for maintenance planning and spare parts management
- Contributing to analyses of costs and performance over time
- Supporting projects with structure, documentation, and requirements related to systems in operation
- Collaborating with various functions such as design, production, and aftermarket
You will work close to both engineering and operations, with a focus on learning to understand the full picture of how complex systems function over time.
Basic Requirements
We are looking for you who are newly graduated or have a couple of years of experience and want to develop in technical roles.
The most important thing is not that you know everything from the start – but that you have the right drive, curiosity, and willingness to learn.
We see that you have:
- An engineering degree in, for example, logistics, mechanical engineering, production, industrial economics, or systems engineering.
Alternatively, acquired equivalent competence through work experience.
- An interest in technical systems and how they work in practice
- Basic analytical ability and interest in data and structure
- Ability to work in a team and willingness to develop in a consulting role
- Excellent knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
We work closely with our customers and a Class B driver's license is a requirement. Since we often work within the defense industry or other socially critical operations, the positions are usually security-classified and may entail requirements for certain citizenship.
Personal Skills, Qualities, Experience
To thrive in the role, we believe that you are at the beginning of your journey and find it exciting to learn new things in a technical environment.
We believe that you are:
Curious and learning-oriented – you want to understand how technical systems connect
Structured – you like order and clarity
Analytical – you enjoy solving problems and working with data
Collaborative – you enjoy working together with others
Responsible – you take ownership of your tasks
We consider it highly meriting if you have completed military service or other relevant experience from the Armed Forces.
Equivalent experience in security, preparedness, or similar areas is also seen as a plus.
What We Offer
You will become part of Sigma Technology Engineering where we combine technical expertise with a strong team spirit.
As a consultant with us, you will be part of an engaged team that values community, knowledge sharing, and having fun together.
We put you as a consultant at the center. Your well-being, your development, and your career goals are our priority.
We believe in long-term relationships and want you to thrive and grow with us over time. As a consultant with us, you will always have an engaged leader and colleagues, secure employment, a flexible workplace, and the opportunity for good work-life balance.
Warm welcome with your application!Job Description
