Main Responsibilities
As a case officer, you participate in the authority's security work and come into contact with both strategic and operational issues, particularly within the field of protection of classified defense information (previously called SUA). You are responsible for ensuring that documents produced in the process are handled correctly according to legislation and for maintaining the internal document lists and registers created regarding protection of classified defense information (ESV). You support the operation with methodological guidance and independently handle cases within your work area. Furthermore, you will conduct security clearance interviews, manage register controls, provide security protection training to personnel, conduct supplier controls according to current procedures, and ongoing work with analysis, planning, and follow-up of security protection tasks. In time, we see that you actively participate in developing our methods and processes.
Qualifications
Post-secondary education in the field of security or other education combined with experience that we deem relevant for the role
Experience of working in security protection
Good ability to express yourself well in both speech and writing in both Swedish and English.
Meritorious
Experience conducting security clearance interviews or other semi-structured interviews or conversations
Experience with protection of classified defense information and/or secure procurement (ESV)
Experience in security work, preferably within defense-related or law enforcement companies or authorities
Experience of service at Must or other Swedish Armed Forces
Education in intelligence or security service
Experience in forming and writing governing and supporting documents
Personal Qualities
The role also requires the ability to handle and analyze different types of information in a structured manner. You thrive in a developing environment and appreciate variation in working both independently as well as in collaboration with others. To thrive in the role, you also need to have a good ability to build trusting relationships, enjoy personal interaction, and be curious and attentive in conversation.
To be suited for the position, you need to be analytical, driven, and have a strong interest in security protection services. The work further requires that you have high integrity and are initiative-taking with good judgment. You are thorough, responsible, and structured in your work. You have good problem-solving skills.
