ABOUT THE POSITION: As a power engineer, you work operationally with inspecting and managing cases related to RfG, Requirements for Generators. The work involves ensuring that new or modernized power generation facilities meet the technical and site-specific requirements that apply before they are connected to the power grid. You review documentation submitted by customers, assess whether the materials are complete, and verify how the facility's technical properties comply with applicable requirements. This could include, for example, voltage levels, facility function, technical performance, and how it affects the surrounding power system. An important part of the role is driving cases forward. You document requirements and assessments, follow up on supplementary information, and maintain ongoing contact with customers and internal functions. You become part of a small specialist team consisting of both employees and consultants. The team works with operational inspections while continuously developing processes and working methods. Therefore, you will have the opportunity to both deepen your technical expertise and contribute to more structured and efficient working practices. Your main areas of responsibility: Review technical documentation for new and modernized power generation facilities. Assess whether customer materials meet applicable RfG requirements. Identify and verify site- and project-specific requirements for each connection. Contribute to the development of inspection processes, templates, and internal working methods. WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR: We are open to both those who have worked a few years in electrical power and those earlier in their career. The most important thing is that you have the right technical foundation, a genuine interest in energy systems, and a desire to develop within RfG and grid connection. Holds a degree or master's degree in electrical engineering, electrotechnics, energy systems, technical physics, or equivalent. Has basic knowledge of electrical power systems, electricity production, and grid connection. Has a pronounced interest in the energy sector and complex technical issues. Is fluent in Swedish in speech and writing as work is performed in Swedish. Merits: Experience or knowledge of working with RfG.
