SJR is now recruiting a driven Junior Accountant for our client in Kista, a global company in the electronics industry. This is a full-time consulting assignment starting as soon as possible and initially for 6 months with employment at SJR and the opportunity for extension or employment with our client thereafter. You will work on-site at the office five days a week. About the Position In this role, you will have an important function within accounting and financial control. You will handle ongoing accounting, payments, accounts payable and financial reporting, and contribute to ensuring that internal controls are complied with. Responsibilities - Management of accounts payable, including registration, updates and payment verification. - Daily bank reconciliations and month-end closing. - Administration of fixed assets. - Preparation of financial reports for monthly closing. - Ensuring that all financial transactions comply with internal controls. - Support with internal audits and external financial reviews. - Documentation and improvement of accounting processes. - Communication with internal teams and suppliers to ensure correct expense handling. Relevant Background We are looking for a junior candidate with a bachelor's degree in economics, accounting or finance. You have 1–3 years of experience in accounting or financial processes and strong Excel skills, including pivot tables and data management. We would like to see experience from one of the Big 4 firms. The role requires flexibility when needed, for example in connection with global financial closings. To succeed, we also see that you have excellent communication skills and fluently master both Swedish and English in speech and writing.
