We are looking for someone interested in working as a personal assistant for a 65-year-old woman who uses a wheelchair. In your role as an assistant, you will make a difference in her life and have the opportunity to help a person live on the same terms as others, as much as possible. The work includes everything from personal care, assistance with activities, household chores, etc. The workplace is in her home as well as wherever she may be. Working hours are arranged in shorter shifts during day and evening, Monday through Sunday. We appreciate it if you can also work with short notice when needed, due to illness and similar circumstances. Since you will be part of a team of personal assistants selected by and for your specific user, it is therefore important to have a good work ethic where everyone supports each other and can work with short notice when needed, due to illness and similar circumstances. WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR? We would like you to have a flexible and independent working style and easily adapt to new situations. You must be able to take responsibility as you work according to the individual's needs. You should have good competence in documentation and maintain a professional approach. You should have a genuine interest and feeling for caring for people. Other qualities that are good for the job are a good sense of humor, calmness, patience, and that you are responsible. You must be able to speak fluent Swedish as this is a job where good communication is very important. It is a great merit if you have experience working in personal assistance. Because we care about our customers' safety and security, we have a routine of requesting extracts from the criminal record register for all people employed by the company. This means that upon employment, we will request a register extract from you before you can start working.
