We are currently looking for you to join our wonderful team and work as a personal assistant in Sunne. What does the job entail? Our client is an active 7-year-old boy with autism, ADHD, and an intellectual disability. He lives with his mother in Sunne. The boy enjoys being active outdoors, jumping on a trampoline, music, and eating chocolate. As an assistant, you will help the client with personal care, social interaction, and supervision in daily life. An important part of the role is to anticipate and prevent risks, as well as create a sense of security and structure in his day. As an assistant, you need to be empathetic, responsive, and confident in your role. You need to be able to read the boy's signals, adapt to his needs, and contribute to a calm and positive environment. Being clear in your communication is of great importance. Work hours with the client are primarily evening and weekend shifts, but daytime shifts during the week may occur. Your workplace is where the client is located, and the job is both varied and eventful. We believe that helping someone live their life as they wish every day is the most important job in the world. Who are we looking for? We are looking for someone who is engaged, respectful, and responsive. We would like to see that you have great patience and the ability to be personal while acting professionally. You are flexible and independent in your work with the client. We would like it if you: have a genuine interest in helping others. can understand and communicate in Swedish. have a driver's license and access to a car. can work flexible hours - day, evening, and weekends. have experience with neuropsychiatric disabilities. have knowledge of AAC (Augmentative and Alternative Communication) and sign support. have experience in care work (this is a plus, but not a requirement).
