Job Description We are seeking an experienced Java Developer for a long-term assignment with an organization responsible for critical societal infrastructure. You will work in a complex and technically advanced environment where systems demand high standards for security, availability, and performance. As a consultant, you will become part of an agile development team where you contribute to the development and maintenance of mission-critical systems. In this role, you will design and develop robust and scalable applications in Java and build and further develop microservices architectures and distributed systems. In addition to this, the role includes: Developing APIs and working with system integrations across different platforms Participating in modernization initiatives, such as migrations from legacy systems Working with testability, quality, and performance in systems with high requirements Contributing to and developing CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices Actively participating in code reviews and continuous improvements Collaborating closely with teams, architects, and business units to ensure the right solutions Qualifications Required Skills Fluent Swedish in speech and writing At least five years of experience in Java development in the public sector and/or energy sector Bachelor's degree in computer science or similar field Desirable Qualifications Experience with CI/CD and modern development workflows Experience with container platforms such as Docker, Kubernetes, or OpenShift is desirable Experience with cloud technologies (Azure, AWS, or similar) is desirable We place great emphasis on personal qualities and your willingness to create value for customers and colleagues.
