Alūksnes Children and Youth Center Tax payer reg. no. 90001386811 invites applications for the vacant position of YOUTH AFFAIRS SPECIALIST for an indefinite period. 1 full-time position (40-hour work week). Main job responsibilities: plan, coordinate, and implement youth work in Alūksnes municipality; collaborate with persons and institutions involved in youth work implementation, non-governmental organizations, and educational institutions; implementation and coordination of non-formal education for youth, informational, educational, and leisure activities and programs in the municipality; organize and lead leisure activities and workshops for children and youth; develop, implement, and manage local and international projects; coordinate youth volunteer work and European Voluntary Service projects. Requirements: higher education or ongoing studies; good knowledge of Latvian language and English language skills for working with European Voluntary Service youth; high sense of duty and responsibility; ability to independently and creatively plan your work; excellent communication, interpersonal, and cooperation skills; positive and creative attitude toward working with children and youth; good computer skills and ability to manage social media accounts; experience in project work and non-formal education will be considered an advantage. Salary before tax payment EUR 1006.00 (during probation period 90% of the established salary).
