Mētrienas Parish Administration of Madona Municipality (reg. No. 90012689100), address "Centra iela 5", Mētriena, Mētrienas Parish, Madona Municipality, invites applications for a Youth Worker position for a fixed-term period (profession code 2422 57). Requirements for candidates: - at least secondary education; - work experience corresponding to the position's competencies; - high sense of responsibility; - knowledge of the state language at the highest level; - ability to work with Microsoft Office software and other programs in Windows environment and office equipment; - Category B driving license. Main responsibilities: - understand the process of implementing youth policy in the country; - carry out work with youth in accordance with state and municipal priorities, involving young people in the implementation and evaluation of youth work; - organize and lead events for young people, promoting useful leisure time activities at least once a month, organize recreation, educational or other types of events for young people; - consult with young people on topics relevant to them; ensure information accessibility and circulation on youth policy matters; - inform young people about relevant issues - events, projects, programs and opportunities to spend their free time usefully in the municipality, Latvia and abroad; - gather and analyze information about young people's interests, needs and opportunities; - motivate young people to engage in non-formal education, event, project and program development, implementation, evaluation and improvement; - promote the development of communication, behavioral culture and moral qualities in young people; - comply with the basic principles of professional and general ethics.
