Joint Staff of the National Armed Forces (Reg. No. 90000068801) announces a position competition Specialist (Military Analytics) (permanent position). Main Responsibilities: • plan and coordinate military operation objective selection and effects planning processes; • collect information on objects, systems and military capabilities, prepare proposals; • develop and improve analytical databases; • coordinate cooperation with NBS and allied structural units, ensuring analysis and process coordination and improvement. Work Location: Riga, Krustabaznīcas Street 9 (on-site work) Requirements for Candidates: • Citizenship of the Republic of Latvia; • Bachelor's or first cycle or level 2 professional higher education in social sciences, politics, management, engineering or other relevant fields; • English language proficiency at B level (reading, terminology use necessary for task performance); • Analytical skills and data handling experience; • Good computer skills in Microsoft Office applications. Important: To perform the position, a special permit for access to state secrets must be obtained (Law "On State Secrets" Articles 9, paragraphs 2 and 3).
