The Tax and Customs Police is a direct administration agency under the supervision of the Minister of Interior, whose mission is to implement legal, fair and effective state administration functions in the detection, prevention and investigation of criminal offenses and other violations of the law in the sphere of state revenue and customs matters. If you have:
First-level professional higher (college) education in police work, obtained at the State Police College or the Latvia Police Academy, or academic or second-level professional higher education;
preferably at least 1 year of experience in the detection and prevention of criminal offenses (we also invite candidates without prior experience if you are interested in criminal investigation and willing to acquire the necessary skills during the work process);
knowledge of the laws in the field of detection and prevention of criminal offenses;
ability to work in conditions of increased intensity with large volumes and diverse information, and the ability to analyze it;
good skills in working with MS Word;
basic skills in working with MS Outlook and Excel;
