the position of Senior Investigator at the
Customs Investigation Division of the Tax and Customs Police
(1 vacancy for an indefinite period)
The Tax and Customs Police is a direct administration institution under the supervision of the Minister of Internal Affairs. Its mission is to ensure the legal, fair, and efficient performance of state administration functions in the detection, prevention, and investigation of criminal offenses and other legal violations in the field of state revenue and customs. If you have:
- Academic or second-level professional higher education;
- Experience in the detection and prevention of criminal offenses of no less than two years (preferably acquired within the last 5 years);
- Knowledge of legal acts in the field of criminal offense detection and prevention;
- Ability to work in high-intensity conditions and find solutions in complex situations;
- Compliance with the requirements of Article 7 of the "Tax and Customs Police" Law and Article 7 of the State Civil Service Law;
- Compliance with the criteria specified in Part 2 of Article 9 of the "State Secret" Law and no restrictions on access to state secret objects as specified in Part 3 of Article 9 of the "State Secret" Law;
- An unblemished reputation.
We will appreciate it if you have a Category B driving license.
If you wish to invest your knowledge and skills in interesting and dynamic work and:
- Conduct investigations in criminal cases concerning criminal offenses in the customs field:
- review submitted information indicating a possible criminal offense and initiate criminal proceedings as soon as the legal grounds and basis are established, or refuse to initiate criminal proceedings;
- investigate criminal offenses in pre-trial criminal proceedings (including particularly complex and large-scale cases);
- ensure the fulfillment of procedural tasks and instructions from courts, prosecutors, and other competent institutions and officials;
- lead and/or participate in the work of investigation groups in pre-trial proceedings.

- Monthly salary from 1754 to 2565 EUR (gross), depending on your professional experience in the relevant field acquired over the last five years;

You will have the opportunity to obtain higher education at state budget expense through part-time study programs based on the needs of law enforcement agencies in:
- Pre-trial investigation (Bachelor's or Master's degree);
- Law enforcement, criminal sentence execution and rescue services management (Master's degree);
- Economic security protection (Master's degree).
We will particularly value candidates with:
- Academic or second-level professional higher education in law, economics, commerce, administration (finance, banking and insurance, accounting and taxes), or legal science;
