Ogres PII "Cīrulītis" – Education Psychologist Ogres Early Childhood Education Institution "Cīrulītis" (Ogre, Meža prospekts 8) invites applications for an Education Psychologist position at 0.6 work load, for an indefinite period. Application deadline: August 31, 2026. Intended start date: immediate. Key Job Responsibilities: • Psychological Assessment and Observation: Observing children's cognitive abilities, emotional development and behavior, as well as conducting individual assessments. • Consultation: Providing advice to parents and educators on child-rearing, education, and addressing behavioral issues. • Crisis Support: Providing psychological assistance to children, parents, and staff during crisis situations. • Prevention and Training: Organizing seminars and workshops for parents and educators, as well as conducting preventive work with child groups. • Collaboration and Report Preparation: Participating in support team activities, preparing reports on assessment results, and developing recommendations. Requirements: • Higher education in psychology; • Registration in the Register of Psychologists; • Psychologist certificate in education and school psychology; • Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills; • Advanced level proficiency in the state language in accordance with the State Language Law requirements.
