Saulkrastu PII "Rūķītis" – Education Psychologist Saulkrastu preschool education institution "Rūķītis" invites an education psychologist to work at 1 full-time position for an indefinite period. Application deadline: August 31, 2026. Planned employment start date: Immediate. Main job responsibilities: plan and conduct psychological assessments of students individually and in groups, including observation of students during and outside the learning process; assess students' psychological readiness for school; prepare reports on the results of students' psychological assessments; prepare collaboration reports on student consultations; provide recommendations to parents and education institution pedagogues; provide support to students, parents, and education institution pedagogues in resolving difficulties that hinder the learning process and create problems with group integration; conduct diagnostic and corrective work with students who have learning and/or behavioral problems; work as part of the education institution's support team. Requirements: higher education in psychology; registration in the Register of Psychologists; psychologist certificate in education and school psychology; good communication, collaboration, and organizational skills; knowledge of the state language at an advanced level in accordance with the requirements of the State Language Law. We offer: work with children aged 1.5 to 6 years at 1 full-time position; salary EUR 1238 per month (gross); holiday allowance at 50% of the salary; professional work autonomy and participation in preschool development decision-making; ensured and paid professional development; health insurance policy (after probation period).
