The preschool education institution "Kāpēcīši" is hiring an EDUCATION AND SCHOOL PSYCHOLOGIST Main responsibilities: Conduct psychological assessments of children, observe their development and behavior, evaluate individual needs and readiness for starting school. Provide psychological and consultative support to children, their parents and educators, collaborating with the institution's support team to address problem situations. Implement preventive and support measures by conducting sessions to promote children's social-emotional skills, emotion regulation and cooperation. Requirements for candidates: Higher education in psychology and authorization to practice as a psychologist in accordance with regulatory requirements. Registration in the Psychologists Register; certificate in the field of education and school psychology or work under the supervision of a supervising psychologist. Ability to collaborate with children, parents, educators and the support team. Good communication skills, responsibility and ability to independently organize your work.
